On the May 25th, 2010, the Institute of Constitutionalism, the branch committee of the Communist of Youth League and Student Union of Law School commonly launched the sixth stage of Constitutionalism Lecture: the Issue, Current Situation and Prospect of Chinese Political Party in Academic Reporting Hall of CUPL in district. Professor Changjiang Wang delivered a presentation commented by Professor Yang Yang of CUPL.
Professor Wang pointed out that Chinese political party had been experiencing a tremendous transformation from a revolutionary party to a ruling party. He added that democracy meant the interactive relationship between common people and public power. The latter needed to satisfy the demand of the former. The gravest deficiency for common people to wield national power was lack of organization. As a result, party appeared as a bridge between common people and public power and had become a universal method employed by many countries around the world.
