The Professor Committee takes part in management of teaching, discipline construction, academic research, staff management, and student education and so on, and provide consultation and suggestions on the reform, construction and other major issues of the school. It harbors an academic branch, a degree branch, etc. 
Currently, the School boasts over 30 research institutes, many of which are the only or first research organization in its field.
