Course introduction:History of Chinese Legality stems from introduction of western legalsystems and legal education systems in the modern times, when

European countries started a surge of nationalrevolutions at the boost of capitalist revolution. In the construction ofmodern legal system symbolized by revival of Roman Law, they have all takenresearch into Roman Law as the core and established their respective legaleducation systems with universities as the major means. With the advent ofnational renaissance campaign, European countries began to investigate into thetraditional laws of their own, and extended the probe to comparison of legalsystems. The School of Historical Law established the research methods andbasic framework of research into the history of legal system. After itsintroduction into China, Western Legal Education System has accordinglywitnessed development in emerging universities.
