Law School Delegation Visited Hokkaido University for Academic Exchanges


Invited by the Faculty of Law of Hokkaido University, from 11 to 16 November 2019, four teachers from the School of Law of China University of Political Science and Law visited Hokkaido University.


During the visit, the teachers of the delegation participated in several academic conferences and made the following keynote speeches: Professor Xue Xiaojian's "Historical Evaluation of the 1982 Constitution", Professor Chen Zheng's "Characteristics and Inherent Laws of the Revision of the Chinese Constitution since 1949", Associate Professor Xie Jing‘s "The Misreading of ‘Rule of Rite’ since the Law Modernization", and Dr. Miduo's " Comparison of the System of National Defense Mobilization Law between China and Japan ". The Chinese and Japanese scholars at the meeting had a heated and in-depth discussion on each reported topic.







During the visit, the delegation also held talks with Professor Ikeda Seiji, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Hokkaido University, and Professor Hui Zeheng and Associate Professor Xu Xing, who are responsible for international exchanges.


The two sides fully affirmed the former accomplishments of the visit exchanges between the teachers of the two Law Schools reached a consensus on maintaining cooperation and signing a formal cooperation agreement. The two sides preliminarily agreed that the two Law Schools will gradually carry out more in-depth and diversified cooperation in terms of student exchanges, teacher exchanges, and cooperative research.
